Pay: £17.00 per hour (Temporary) | £19.22 per hour (Permanent)

Empowered Personnel is recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role after a successful 12-week temporary period with competitive pay, regular work and excellent earning potential.

The Role:
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to retail stores using a manual Class 2 vehicle.

Your duties will include:
– Driving a manual Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
– Delivering palletised goods to retail stores
– Completing an average of 4–6 drops per day
– Handballing goods where required
– Using a pump truck to assist with deliveries
– Working shifts of approximately 10–12 hours
– Start times between 4:00am and 6:00am
– Completing approximately 3–4 nights out per month (£25 night out allowance)

Pay & Benefits:
– Temporary (First 12 Weeks) – £17.00 per hour. Estimated annual earnings: £44,200–£53,040
– Permanent – £19.22 per hour. Estimated annual earnings: £49,972–£59,966

Requirements:
– A valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
– A valid Driver CPC
– A valid Digital Tachograph Card
– At least 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
– No more than 6 penalty points
